Newborn Baby Photography Shoot

With over 20 years worth of newborn photography experience …  I have now created ‘Tiny Violets Photography’ – which is the newborn arm of Shy Violet Photography.

Over the years … I have collected lots of ideas, props, outfits and accessories for your newborn baby photos.  All available to you for you to choose on the day of your newborn photo shoot.  Or opt for the more natural shoot with creams and whites – we cater for all requirements.  If you go to the Galleries tab at the top of the website you will get 4 dropdown galleries – all very different in style to (hopefullly) suit most tastes.   Or see links below in this blog.

I have a fabulous warm, light and airy studio which is very baby and child friendly and where you will feel immediately at ease – lots of soft seating,  soft toys, rugs and refreshments.  click here to take you to a short video of our studio.

Our Newborn Photo Shoots go up to 4 weeks with our favourite time to capture your newborn being between 6 and 12 days.  However, if your baby has been born early then the 4 week rule may not apply … and also if your baby is still sleeping well after feeds it still might not be too late after the 4 week threshold.  Please feel free to call me to discuss.

We only say up to 4 weeks old, as newborn babies are so much more alert at this time and it’s not so easy to get the sleepy curled up shots we all love if they are not asleep.
